“The combined waste from clothing and textiles in the UK is about 2.35 million tonnes, 13% going to material recovery (about 300 thousand tonnes), 13% to incineration and 74% (1.8 million tonnes) to landfill.” University of Cambridge Institute for Manufacturing
Worn Again believes some things are just too good to go to waste.
Worn Again works with leading product designers to transform discarded and unwanted fabrics into modern, wearable clothes and accessories.
For our latest collection, one of Britain’s most exciting new designers, Christopher Raeburn, used decommissioned Eurostar uniforms and retired Virgin hot air balloons to make a range of laptop bags, Oyster card holders and hoodies. See them in our shop.
“These fantastic products are totally unique. Each one has its own story and I hope lots of people will take the chance to own one”
Sir Richard Branson
As well as making very desirable bags and accessories, Worn Again offers consultancy services and remanufactured products for large companies, such as Royal Mail, who want to find a profitable, sustainable way to deal with their waste textiles. We provide easy, visible ways for companies to meet their sustainability goals, reduce waste and save money.
As featured in Wired Magazine’s April issue, Worn Again launched the world’s first upcycled Train Manager’s bag, with award winning Designer, Benjamin Shine. The bag has been made from Eurostar’s decommissioned staff uniforms and seats for train managers traveling between London, Paris and Brussels. The project is part of Worn Again’s long term commitment to reinvigorate UK remanufacturing, RE:Made in UK, and divert unnecessary waste from landfill.

Are you a business interested in closing your textiles waste loop?
Worn Again provides innovative ‘upcycling’ solutions to large businesses by turning corporate textile waste, such as staff uniforms, into new products that can be reintegrated into the companies providing the materials.
Our aim is to help companies achieve long-term cost efficiencies while also helping to achieve sustainability and waste reduction goals. Why upcycle?
We provide consultancy and a range of services, including design and development of products which can be:
- used to replace an existing procurement product made from virgin resources
- used for marketing purposes
- sold on to customers, providing a new stream of revenue
- sold via conventional Worn Again consumer sales channels.
…all made from textile waste.
Our big vision is to help you become a “zero waste” company (at least when it comes to textiles). Our approach collaborative. See who we are.
We work closely with our clients to find out what approach will bring them the most advantage.
