The difference between faith and hope.

The difference between faith and hope is that in the case of faith, you let go.

In the case of hope, you don’t.

What? Why? How does that make sense?

Well, in the case of faith, you love what you believe.

In the case of hope, you hold on to what you hope, whatever it is.

Conclusion : hold on to love, have faith in the rest, and you’re sorted.

(if anyone thinks otherwise, let me know, but I can’t see anything wrong with this and believe it to be true).

This is (I think) a song that speaks of hope :

This is (I think) a song that speaks of faith :

See, cause I have faith in love rather than whatever anyone believes.

Without “you” or “anyone”, I don’t give up.

Easy fucking peezy.

Personally? I’d say believe and love whatever the hell you like. I don’t have faith, I have hope, but I love THAT (not anyone, not anything, THAT itself).

Where “THAT” is defined (personally, from my point of view) as “love”. Which you can only know and never prove.

This kind of shit :

So when you hope for something you love, you let go of whatever it is you love but never let go of whatever it is you hope.

But that’s ok, cause no one is “hope incarnated” right? Wrong…. sadly, idols are, but that’s wrong, that isn’t true, fuck that.

take it away Shaggy 😉
